Company Background
Benchmark was founded in 2006 by Sheffield born and bred Directors Louisa Harrison (now Harrison-Walker!) and Amy Tingle (now Mrs Turner!). Louisa has over ten years experience in high level recruitment, and she won national acclaim coming 1st place as the permanent consultant of the year for high street super brand Office Angels due to the number of people she placed in permanent positions that stayed in their roles. Before launching Benchmark, Amy was a recruiter, trainer and manager on a national level for The Spirit Group. Amy has interviewed and talent spotted hundreds of individuals whilst managing and training Regional Managers.
They went on to launch Benchmark Recruit and, as the name suggests, their intention was to raise the bar, provide an exceptional service and solve problems for clients. Benchmark’s aim has always been to ensure that clients would consider us an extension of their own organisations and as a business that would be able to offer services above and beyond those available from their existing recruitment providers.
