Sheffield Roots - Benchmark Recruit, Sheffield

Sheffield Roots

At Benchmark we’re proud of our Sheffield roots, and when it came to supporting the Master Cutler’s Challenge this year there was no question of doubt that we wanted to be involved.  Having the opportunity to support St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice through this unique charity event is one we couldn’t resist, as they both provide invaluable services to local communities.

Last night we received our £50 funds from Master Cutler, Craig McKay, in a unique Henderson Relish bottle, and are now all set to start planning our fundraising activity.  The launch event was a fantastic motivator to work hard to maximise our contribution to the Master Cutler’s charities, as we heard inspiring words from nurses from both St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice.

Not only this, but Sheffield legends Steve Peat, of mountain biking fame, and local artist Joe Scarborough were present to help kick off the event (pictured below).

Our plans are underwraps but all will be revealed soon! In the meantime our Business Development Manager Tom Hudson got into the spirit of things last night and agreed to do a sky dive with Mistress Cutler Karen McKay and Steve Peat – we’re right behind you Tom!!
