At Benchmark Recruit we are passionate about working on a one to one basis with all our candidates, taking the time to get to know you as an individual and finding out exactly what drives you, what aspirations you have for your workplace and, more importantly, what position you want us to find for you.
We know how frustrating pounding the high street can be, handing in your CV and hearing nothing back. Applying and responding to anonymous vacancies on recruitment websites, when you have questions or just want to speak to someone. You may need career advice and guidance. You may know exactly what you want but just can’t find it yourself. We are here to help you.
Getting it right
Benchmark Recruit have a large client base and spend time understanding our clients business so that you can be sure you’ve been matched to the right employer. With extensive relationships in the South Yorkshire employment market, no role is out of our realm. Unlike other agencies we don’t try and match you to whatever vacancies we have, we will only offer you positions that match your exact requirements. More over we proactively contact companies for you, to find you the company, position, salary, location, team environment and progression you require.
Are you fed up of filling in forms?
Benchmark Recruit have invested in the latest software enabling us to take the details we need directly from your CV – all you have to do is email your CV to us. No more clip boards and reams of paperwork! Full Identification and details of references are required to register.
A face-to-face consultation is essential for us to understand and evaluate your experience and potential. Appointments can be made at our city centre office in Sheffield, or if it’s more convenient we’ll come to you. We are also available to conduct interviews out of traditional office hours.
Our free on-line skills assessments can be completed with us in the office or at your convenience from any computer with Internet access. The assessments allow you to benchmark your IT skills for certain vacancies, and outline your key strengths. Once registered with us our website will enable you to keep updated with new vacancies and opportunities by notifying you via email as soon as they arise.
A helping hand
Your personal career consultant will find the job that is right for you by providing CV advice, career advice, interview tips and techniques, and pre interview preparation. We concentrate on being proactive on your behalf, liaising with employers all across South Yorkshire to market you and your skills. We are not satisfied until we find you a job that you will treasure.
Recommendations
So many of our candidates are delighted with the way we have helped them secure permanent work that they recommend us to their friends, family and colleagues. We have now introduced a ‘recommend a friend’ scheme whereby once you are registered with us if you recommend someone to us that we place in a permanent position you will receive a £25 voucher for the store of your choice.
