The Job Role 

Business Development Manager

Department – Sales

To actively seek and win new customers within the sector by:

Identifying additional potential market sectors and alternative routes to market;

Proactively prospecting and developing contacts and relationships with key decision makers within the HORECA sector, Education, NHS, Local Government, and the Private Sector;

Remain fully involved throughout each quotation process providing the link between and the customer in order to maximise the percentage chance of success;

Work with colleagues to cover our existing customer base to raise the sector profile and maximise all opportunities where appropriate;

Monitor competitor activity and report to relevant colleagues;

The Talent 

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Hunter mentality;

A verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding targets within SMEs and Corporate arenas;

Managing the full Sales Pipeline reviewing sales cycles, sales performance, and customer needs all against expectation continuously;

Above all we are looking for someone who thrives on working within a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, delivering continued improvement and has the confidence and skills to affect positive change whilst performing with a team environment.
