The Job Role 

We’re looking for an automation tester to join a leading telecoms provider.

As a tester you will be responsible for testing, certification and performance benchmarking both products and systems. This exciting and involved role will cover all QA processes, debugging and will require constant interaction with development engineers and key stakeholders to ensure compliance. More specifically, you will analyse requirements/features and develop test plans, automate testing, review existing test cases, user documents and release notes and report and track defects to ensure proper management and escalation. 

The Talent 

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-2 years specific testing experience, gained on PHP and Web-based applications. You will have familiarity with HTML, Javascript, XML, Web Services and related technologies, a strong background in Object-Oriented concepts, and experience with Selenium automation tools. It would also be advantageous to have experience or knowledge of the following: PHPUnit, Windows and Linux, Junit, transaction-based software applications and VMWare or other virtual environments.
