The Job Role 

The role would suit someone who has a real interest and passion for IT and ideally with at least one year’s experience working in an IT support role.

The main purpose of the position is assisting with the day-to-day maintenance of over 300 workstations and providing first class support to all of the users.


Main Duties:

Providing 1st line and 2nd line support

Unboxing, logging, setting up and sending back development hardware as required for the users

Workstation and laptop repairs

Working with software for PCs

Building and customisation of specific hardware and software

installing software,

Installing printers

The Talent 

A knowledge of Windows Operating Systems

Knowledge of Active Directory and Remote Desktops

Experience using a Call Logging System

Knowledge of Apple Mac operating systems

Fantastic communication skills

Dealing with customer problems and queries in a Windows and Apple Mac mixed environment

Ability to provide Microsoft Office and printer support

Ability to work to time scales and deadlines

Ability to provide progress updates on tasks.
