Meet The Team

Our company is founded on customer-focussed principles. The team aims to provide the highest standards in professional and effective recruitment consultancy services, matching the right person to the right role every time. A dynamic team of knowledgeable professionals uphold this commitment.

 Louisa Harrison-Walker (Co - Director)

Lou 7.JPG

Louisa is a Sheffield girl through and through, and is partial to more than the odd Yorkshire pudding. With eight years experience in high level recruitment she won national acclaim and came 1st place as the permanent consultant of the year for high street super brand Office Angels due to the number of people she placed in permanent positions that stayed in their roles. With a deep founded insight into the Yorkshire employment market and knowledge of job seekers behaviours and expectations, Louisa is perfectly placed to pinpoint your exact requirements. Recently married she is getting used to her new surname and her new husband too for that matter!

Favourite month: May (because the sun starts shining)

Favourite food: Sunday Dinner time and time again

Favourite place: My bed on a Sunday morning with the papers & a bacon sarnie

Most treasured possession: My vegetable patch, which saw an abundance of broccoli this year!

Most embarrassing moment: When my Mum skied off the edge of the nursery slopes on a day out with school and got covered in mud!

How would your best friend describe you: Busy, motivated, and very talkative

Amy Tingle (Co-Director )

Amy 9_resize1.jpg

Amy too is born and bred in our fair city, now residing in S11 (the posh side of town). She has come a long way since her early days in the fruit and veg shop at 13 at Banner Cross! Before launching Benchmark with best friend Louisa, Amy was a recruiter, trainer and manager on a national level for The Spirit Group. Amy has interviewed and talent spotted hundreds of individuals whilst managing and training Regional Managers. She is perfectly placed to identify core competencies in job seekers and identify learning styles.

Favourite month: December it means so much to me, a time to show people how much you love them, a period where you get to spend time with your loved ones, a time to reflect on the year gone and think of the exciting times ahead. Throw in some fireworks and you have one happy person

Favourite food: Sunday Dinner (preferably one of Lou’s Sunday dinners!)

Favourite place: A nice panoramic sea view with a glass of wine in my hand - not fussy where that is!

Most treasured possession: My engagement ring as I can’t wait to be Mrs Turner!

Most embarrassing moment: When I got over excited and introduced myself to Danni Minogue as 'Danni'

How would your best friend describe you: She’s been trying to get rid of me for 17 years but I am still here! Someone she would come to in times of happiness and sadness. Someone she will always manage to get into trouble with on a night out!

Amy heads the Temporary and Permanent Executive and Management & HR Desk

Rachal Williams (Consultant)

Rach 5_resize1.jpg

Rachal graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2007 with an honours degree in Business Studies where she completed a year’s work placement within a busy recruitment office. Rachal is from the flat lands of Lincoln and we do like to watch her huff and puff on the old Sheffield hills!

Favourite month: November - not just because it’s my birthday but because it’s nearly Christmas!

Favourite food: Pasta and Chicken

Favourite place: My mums house because there are always people around and never a dull moment!

Most treasured possession: A pool table at my dad's house which was once my Granddads’

Most embarrassing moment: When I was on holiday in Cuba with my family. One of the chefs decided to start talking to me every time he saw me. This would have been fine, however my parents decided to wind me up about him constantly - so much so that he asked my step dad if I could go out for a drink with him! I still get teased about it to this day!

How would your best friend describe you? A very bubbly person, who is easy to get on with and a great listener. She is very hardworking, organised and motivated and never leaves things until the last minute! She is a good laugh, makes great tea (always a bonus!) and a real chocoholic! All in all, Rachal is a great friend to have!”

Rachal will be looking after Temp and Perm Office & Financial roles

Tom Wylie (Consultant)

 Tom 3_resize1.jpg
Tom is the latest member to join the team and, like Rachal, is also a graduate from Sheffield Hallam University with an honours degree in Business Studies and Marketing. Before joining Benchmark, Tom was working as an Executive Recruiter and Head Hunter within the retail sector for a regional company. Tom likes to think he is a talented footy player; we think he just likes the showers. Tom will be looking after Sales & Marketing vacancies

Favourite month: August - best weather, birthday month, football season begins

Favourite food: Too many to mention!

Favourite place: Apart from back home I’d have to say a nice beach anywhere

Most treasured possession: My bed

Most embarrassing moment: During a packed out Potteries derby back at Stoke there was an electric atmosphere, ground was full & the game wasn’t going too well. A combination of anger, frustration and desperation caused me to shout out quite a long winded rant at my beloved Stoke City players. Now this was a time when I was experiencing “changes” and two words in my voice broke leaving me screaming very loudly and stupidly for a good few sentences of effing and blinding at a high pitched squeal! The whole crowd seemed to turn to stare at me and one cocky lad shouted ‘Vote Gareth’ (Gareth Gates was facing Will Young in the final of Pop Idol that night) and I went a very bright shade of red!

How would your best friend describe you: A talented footballer

Siobhan Hennessey (Office Manager)

Siobhan 2_resize1.jpgSiobhan is from the wrong side of the Pennines and is more partial to a barm than a bap, but we forgive her as she is such a grafter. As the ‘director of first impressions’ Siobhan assists candidates and clients with initial enquiries and underpins all the administration activity required for a busy recruitment office. Fridays are her favourite day and on the weekend she can be found propping up the bar at Menzels with her gal pals.

Favourite month: July (because all the best people are born in that month obviously)

Favourite food: Anything with mushrooms in will keep me happy

Favourite place: My mum’s kitchen

Most treasured possession: My Harry Potter first edition books

Most embarrassing moment: When I ruined a surprise party by entering the room before the birthday girl and everyone sang to me! I’m still in the bad books for it…

How would your best friend describe you: “Siobhan is a very kind and caring person with a very contagiously positive outlook on life! She is always ready to help you out and puts all her effort into everything she does. She has a somewhat quirky sense of humour which makes her lots of fun, great company and an even better friend!”

Siobhan heads up the Events & Hospitality desk
