Benchmark Recruits for Neurocare!

It was during a chance meeting at Nabarro’s Annual Summer Ball held at Sheffield Cathedral that Lesley Eland from Neurocare mentioned that she was desperate for an extra pair of hands in the fundraising office, but was just too snowed under to get it sorted! Knowing the hard work and dedication that the Neurocare team put in to their charitable organisation, we were keen to help and offered our consultative recruitment & retention services to the organisation, free of charge. Directors Amy and Louisa visited the Neurocare Head Office and met with the team not only to clarify exactly the type of candidate they needed but also to assess the teams’ personalities and learning styles to ensure that they could find the perfect fit! Following this consultation, we concentrated on providing Neurocare with a friendly, efficient and professional service by selecting the top three candidates to go forward for interview. It was a tough decision but Rebecca, with her organisational skills, strong administration background and cheery personality, was chosen as the new recruit! We will be on hand to assist when needed as we offer a range of material for all clients that includes induction plans for the first day, learning styles questionnaires, weekly reviews etc and wish Rebecca and the team at Neurocare every success in the future!
Benchmark's New Recruits!
Rachal Williams Tom Wylie
Rachal was the first of the two to join Benchmark and has settled right into the team! Rachal graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2007 with an honours degree in Business Studies and before joining Benchmark was working in a graduate Sales role for a national development company. Combined with a year’s work placement within a busy recruitment office we felt that Rachal’s experience, enthusiasm and cheerful personality were a great match for us and we are delighted that she has come on board! Rachal will be looking after Office Support & Financial Admin roles
Tom is the latest member to join the team and, like Rachal, is also a graduate from Sheffield Hallam University with an honours degree in Business Studies and Marketing. Before joining Benchmark, Tom was working as an Executive Recruiter and Head Hunter within the retail sector for a regional company and combined with his previous experience as Management Trainee we felt his knowledge and experience would compliment the existing team perfectly! Tom will be looking after Sales & Marketing vacancies.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us along the way from our initial start up to where we are today and for your continued help and support - we look forward to working with you again and to another great year! (Click to Enlarge) Benchmark Recruit hosted a Personal Development & Networking Event at The Quarter Bar and Restaurant in Sheffield city centre. We joined forces with Jon Colman from Training Providers Red Vanilla to host a Goal Setting session to help attendees prioritise their work and personal life, and realise what they want to achieve in 2008! The session was informal, interactive and more fun than most workshops you will have attended! There was an informal networking session afterwards and guests stayed for drinks and the live jazz band afterwards in the newly renovated Quarter Bar (formerly Sola) in the city centre. For information about personal development events please contact louisa@benchmarkrecruit.co.uk. We'll see you next time! Clients and associates of Benchmark Recruit were invited to attend an interactive Speed Reading and Mind Mapping session at a fun filled evening held at Takapuna Bar and Restaurant in Sheffield city centre. The session was hosted by Benchmark with guest speaker Anthony Gopaul leading the activites and saw delegates exploring ways to incorporate mind mapping diagrams into their daily working and personal lives.
