Switch On To Young Talent

Benchmark Recruit news

Benchmark switches on to fresh young talent by sponsoring the Best Innovation category in Sheffield City Council's Code>Make>Win competition, also supported by Barclays. The initiative is designed to showcase the best of students coding and digital making projects, supporting young talent by encouraging them to enter their creations.

The Best Innovation award will run across all three competition age groups: 9-11, 12-16, 17-19 with the IT and Digital team from Benchmark judging the entries. Students from schools, colleges and academies in Sheffield are being asked to submit their digital creations and have until June 14th to make an entry.
"Sheffield is renowned as a creative and innovative city, and this fantastic initiative will only cement this further. There's a real hotbed of talent that is waiting to be tapped into and we're looking forward to seeing the innovative ideas the next generation present". Said Louisa Harrison-Walker, Managing Director at Benchmark.
The winner from each category will be awarded either a 'Great Escape Game' experience or £75 vouchers to spend on digital equipment courtesy of Benchmark.
