"Kelham Island is seeing exceptional growth with many businesses choosing to base themselves in this part of the city, as well as cultural hot spots and an increasing level of inhabitants choosing to live in this cool part of the city. Sheffield is experiencing a contemporary renaissance of the 'Little Mesters' complexes who flourished during the city's industrial heyday, providing the finishing touches to Sheffield's renowned cuterly and knife blades. The 21st century take on this reflected in the many SME independent businesses calling the Kelham Island area and Sheffield home, all contributing to a vibrant and exciting business output, especially in the creative industries. Sheffield is also renowned as a hub for cycling enthusiasts and attracts many visitors for this reason - it is great to be involved in this unique event in a unique location, as well as reinforcing our standing as 'The Outdoor City' said Lousia Harrison-Walker, Managing Director at Benchmark
KICX is fully support by The Outdoor City campaign heralding Sheffield as the UK's leading city for outdoor adventure and city culture. To find out more information visit the Sheffield Urban Cyclo Cross Wesbite.
