When you think of famous artists you don’t generally think of animals – well, thanks to Whirlow Hall Farm this is all about to change. The charity is set to host a unique exhibition featuring artwork by their own creative creatures from the farm itself.
The original artwork will be showcased at this exclusive event on Thursday, 28th April at The Workstation 6pm – 8.30pm and guests will have the chance to bid for the artwork at the charity auction.
Whirlow’s artists include Harry Pretzel the guinea pig and Gaga the goose.
The evening is inspired by Whirlow’s resident artist Mike Easdown whose artwork is showcased on the event invitation:
“We are proud to be partnering with our chosen charity Whirlow Hall Farm to deliver a first on the Sheffield art scene – it’s sure to be a great talking point, and raise some invaluable funding for the charity, that provides a classroom in the countryside for so many school children of Sheffield.” said Louisa Harrison-Walker, Managing Director at Benchmark and Whirlow Hall Farm trustee.
Alongside the artwork auction there will be a promises auction of Whirlow experiences ranging from a tour of the wine vineyard to a children’s private lambing event. Tickets are priced £10 and all proceeds go to Whirlow Hall Farm Charity – simply click here to book your place before places get snapped up.
