Equality and Diversity Policy

Benchmark's vision is to 'Build Businesses and Build Individuals'. Discrimination of any form does not form part of our vision or our working practice. Benchmark acts ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealing and relationships.

Benchmark has a zero tolerance to all forms of discrimination and values and treats all people including employees, clients, candidates and suppliers, with dignity and respect and will always aim to encourage, value and manage equality and diversity.

Benchmark will not unlawfully discriminate against any employee, candidate or client whether directly or indirectly, on the grounds of sex, sexual orientation, martial or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, religion, nationality, ethnic or national origin, disability or age.

Benchmark ensures that candidates are assessed on their merits, qualifications and technical abilities to perform the role and expects the same of their clients.

Benchmark will not accept instructions from a Client who indicates their intention to discriminate unlawfully.

Benchmark implements effective systems to ensure discrimination of any kind if not taking place anywhere within our business, or Client's businesses or in any of our supply chain partners.

Any Benchmark employee who breaches this Policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct.

We many terminate our relationship with other individuals or organisations that Benchmark is working for, or that is working on our behalf, if they breach this Policy.
