Monday-Friday full time – hours to be worked between 8 am and 5 pm (8-4/8.30-4.30/9-5)

£22,000 to £25000 DOE


The Job Role:


Our client’s business is growing at a rapid rate, and as such, they require two Bookkeepers to join their accounts department.  We are looking to speak to candidates that have excellent Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeping experience as well as experience working within the construction industry.


This is an excellent opportunity for candidates that are looking to further their career within Bookkeeping whilst working for a fast-growing business.


Working in an accounts department of four, this varied Bookkeeping position will include the following duties;


  • Managing sales and purchase ledger
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Providing financial administrative support
  • Producing financial information for management
  • Managing banking transactions
  • Managing enquiries from suppliers, clients and third parties
  • Managing invoices
  • Preparing VAT returns


We are looking to speak to candidate’s that have the following work experience;


  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working within the construction industry
  • Understanding of CIS
  • Confident using SAGE 50
  • Excellent computer skills – confident using full suite of MS Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills


Our client’s offices are easily commutable by car from Sheffield, Barnsley, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Rotherham – our client has free parking on site.
