The Job Role:

Our client, who is an award-winning software company, has a newly created role within their organisation for an experienced Business Analyst. 

The successful candidate will help customers turn their ideas into a reality, as well as improving customer experience and ensuring software meets current and future needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Undertaking research and analysis to understand clients needs and problems
  • Suggesting evolutions to products offered
  • Facilitating between stakeholders, users and product teams
  • Collaborating across teams to propose innovative, technology-driven solutions
  • Gathering internal and external feedback
  • Working with sales teams from initial brief through to specification and presentation of a proposed solution
  • Working in collaboration with client and project team to document, validate and prioritise requirements
  • Creating workflow diagrams, operational scenarios and running workshops

Applicants should have the following experience;

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience gathering software requirements
  • Experience of working within a digital team that has delivered products to users
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the technical limitations of devices and software across web and mobile applications
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong estimating and budgeting experience
  • Confidence to run workshops, question decisions, negotiate and make recommendations
  • Understanding of business requirements and their relationship to users
