The Job Role:


Due to rapid expansion within our client’s organisation, we are looking for a Community Business Development Consultant to build relationships and partnerships across Rotherham.  


Our client empowers individuals to build confidence and reach their potential. The successful candidate will build relationships and partnerships across Rotherham to register individuals to attend courses to help make a real difference to their day to day life.


We are looking to speak to candidates who have B2B sales experience within a consultative environment. This role focuses on building relationships with some of the most vulnerable members of society it is therefore crucial that the successful candidate is able to think on their feet, be flexible and very understanding. The successful candidate will be required to talk through the benefits of the course and will be targeted to register individuals onto each course each month.


This role will also involve working closely with charities and referral partners. The successful candidate will meet with clients and partners regularly to ensure the most vulnerable people in society are supported.


Applicants are required to be self-motivated as this role is predominantly working from home with travel 2-3 days a week across Rotherham. Applicants will need to hold a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.


Although not an essential criteria, this role is well suited to individuals who have worked within the Rotherham community and have contacts across the community.


Applicants are required to have strong B2B sales experience and have excellent negotiation skills. Applicants should also enjoy account management and retaining key partnerships within the community.


This role is initially contracted until July 2022 but will then be made permanent.
