The Job Role:

This Administration position, working within a busy credit control department, is well suited to a professional individual who is looking to work for a fast-growing professional Sheffield business.

Working within the credit control department, the successful candidate will provide administration support to the Credit Controllers who are chasing outstanding monies due to the business.   

The position will include the following duties;

  • Initial contact with customers regarding outstanding invoices.  Mainly first contact is by email, but at times it may be by telephone.
  • Handling incoming enquiries from customers.  Customers may need their invoice to be re sent, or may have queries which need investigating.
  • Providing administration support to the team.
  • Where clients are not able to make payment, or are not responding to enquiries, the successful candidate will escalate the file onto the Credit Controllers.

Applicants should have experience working within a professional office environment, and will be confident using the full suite of MS Office. Applicants who have experience using SAGE will be at an advantage, but this is not an essential requirement.
