The Job Role:
As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful running of the organisation including; finance, management, administration, governance and customer service.
Reporting directly to the Board, this position will include the following;
- Review, develop and implement the new strategy for the organisation
- Day to day operations of the organisation including management of a small team including HR
- Ensuring KPIS for the business are met
- Ensuring financial targets for the organisation are met
- Working closely with the financial function to review and forecast
- Attending networking events, lunches and meetings to promote the services of the organisation
- Ensuring compliance, health and safety and legal responsibilities for the organisation are adhered to
- Attending monthly board meetings and producing written report reviewing financial and operational performance
- Making recommendations for performance improvements throughout the business
- Project Management
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a similar senior position and will have the following experience;
- Knowledge of finance – including understanding of P&L
- Experience of managing a team
- Strong commerciality
- Strong written communication including report writing
- Experience of health and safety and legal responsibilities within a business
- Keen networker with ability to build strong customer relationships
- Management of KPIs and targets
