The Job Role:

We are representing Fareshare to recruit an E-Learning Designer. This is a brand-new position for Fareshare who redistribute surplus food into the community to ensure ‘no good food goes to waste’.

Working within the Information Centre, the successful E-Learning Designer will contribute towards Fareshare’s learning and development strategy and will be responsible for the day to day delivery of resources and e-learning materials. The successful candidate will help drive Fareshare’s learning and development vision. These learning materials will include upskilling new and existing staff and volunteers, as well as embedding transformative systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

  • Working closely with the team to design and create learning and development materials and resources
  • Design and create e-learning courses
  • Create multimedia content including training videos, interactive exercises, visual aids etc
  • Design and development of training materials
  • Assist with the updating of curriculum and training records
  • Support the roll out of LMS system throughout Fareshare

Essential criteria for applicants include the following;

  • Experience designing and developing e-learning materials
  • Experience using tools including Articulate Storyline and Adapt
  • Experience working within a digital design team

Applicants will ideally have experience of the following;

  • Agile project management development
  • Experience working within the third sector
  • Experience of LMS roll-out
  • Experience delivering training
  • Experience of scripting copy for training
