£60,000 DOE

The Job Role:

Due to growth within our client’s business, and with further ambitious plans to grow and acquire additional businesses, our client is seeking a dynamic, intuitive Finance Director. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success to manage and direct all company finances.

The Finance Director will work collaboratively with the Partners of the firm to monitor performance and ensure objectives are met.

Experience working within a senior management role is essential along with financial insight and vision. This role will involve complex data analysis, budget forecasting, overseeing accounts and budgets and making strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities will include the following;

• Balancing operational and strategic objectives including
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Management of cash flow
  • Regularly reviewing accounts
  • Preparation, presentation and submission of quarter end and annual accounts
  • Preparation and submission of regular updates
  • Efficiency improvement and cost control
• Working closely with the Partners and keeping them advised of financial performance
• Generating reports
• Researching and reporting business performance
• Managing stakeholder relationships
• Involvement with commercial negotiations
• Management of the internal accounts team
• Visible leadership with the wider team

Qualifications and experience required;

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• 3 years + experience in a senior finance/managerial role
• Experience using Sage and Iris (or other financial CRM software)
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
