The Salary:

£29,000 to £35,000 DOE

The Job Role:

We are representing a well-established Sheffield organisation who deliver a range of services and solutions to organisations in a variety of sectors across the UK.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of financial management for the business.

This is a hands-on finance role, we are looking to speak to candidates who are happy within a transactional finance position managing the day to day finances of the business.

The successful Finance Manager will enjoy a varied role and will be responsible for the following duties;

Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Bank reconciliations
Credit control
Processing payroll
Managing HMRC including VAT returns, PAYE, P11Ds and P32s
Ensuring the business remains IR35 compliant
Managing CIS
Processing contractors’ timesheets
Maintaining budgets and forecasting
Month end processing
Working collaboratively with external Accountants
Producing financial information and presentations for management
Managing expenses

We are looking to speak to candidates that have the following professional experience;

Experience managing finance for a fast-paced business
Experience using Sage 50
Experienced producing management accounts
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – especially advanced Excel skills
Full or Part Qualified ACA/CIMA qualification and/or 10 years experience working within a finance position
