Shift pattern on rotation -

Monday-Friday 8 am – 22 pm

Saturday-Sunday 8 am – 8 pm

Working 5 days a week 8-hour days, working approx. one weekend in every four.

The Salary:

£19,000 to £24,000 DOE

The Job Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a native French or Spanish or German or Polish or Italian speaker to join our client’s growing technology business located in the heart of Sheffield city centre.

This full-time role will involve working as part of a busy 1st Line Support team managing incoming calls, emails and texts from customers regarding their technical queries.

As 1st Line Support Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Handling incoming 1st line support queries from customers
  • Logging calls on in house CRM system
  • 1st line diagnosis of faults
  • Escalating faults to 2nd line support team when required
  • Handling incoming SMS messages
  • Management of online chat with customers
  • Translating written communications from English to native spoken language and vice versa
  • Creation of written content in native spoken language 

Applicants will ideally have the following experience to be considered for this role;

  • Fluent in both written and spoken French or Spanish or German or Polish or Italian – ideally mother tongue
  • Good working knowledge of Windows/Mac/Linux
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP
  • Strong experience working within customer services
  • Excellent written and spoken English
