We are delighted to be representing our client as they recruit a Key Account Manager into their business development team. Our client runs a thriving business and the successful candidate will play a vital role within the organisation nurturing existing client accounts as well as prospecting new business.
As Key Account Manager, the successful candidate will be managing accounts within the retail sector of the business. We would therefore love to hear from candidates that have specifically worked with retail clients as well as able to demonstrate a successful career within sales and account management.
Typical duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following; - Day to day management of key accounts within the Retail sector - Nurturing existing accounts - Attending meetings in person where required – meetings will be across the UK and Europe - Working strategically with clients to ensure best return of investment for all parties - Proactively working with clients to drive new product sales - Analysing sales data - Reporting sales data into management - Prospecting new business within the Retail sector - Attending trade shows and exhibitions on behalf of the business - Working collaboratively with the marketing team to drive campaigns - Working to monthly KPIs and targets
We would love to hear from candidates that have the following skills and experience; - Exceptional Key Account Management experience - Excellent proactive sales experience - Professional and confident attending meetings with new and existing clients - Confident working within the Retail sector - Passionate about building strong working relationships with clients - Strong numerical skills including using Excel to showcase data - Highly organised - Strict attention to detail - Happy working within a team focussed environment - Exceptional communicational skills - Full, clean driving licence
