Full time

Monday-Thursday 8.15 – 5

Friday 8.15 – 12.45

 

The Salary:

£28,000 to £30,000 + commission

 

The Job Role:

 

Due to growth within our client’s organisation, we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Key Account Manager. Across the business, our client is looking to shift their focus and start focussing more on nurturing their high-volume accounts to help increase their market share.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has strong business development experience but looking to move into more of a strategic key account manager role. Whilst this position will be targeted, the successful candidate will not be targeted with new business. The successful candidate as Key Account Manager will actively monitor their accounts, build strong relationships and maximise growth opportunities.

 

The successful Key Account Manager will work strategically with their account base to ensure short term and long-term plans are met for each client.

 

Responsibilities for the role will include the following;

 

-        Assisting the sales team with contracts for new and existing clients

-        Reporting account activity highlighting any changes to client accounts

-        Providing quotations

-        Ensuring deliveries are scheduled and delivered on time

-        Meet regularly with Sales Account Managers

-        Attending client meetings when required (approximately 2-3 times a month)

-        Maintain regular contact with clients and stakeholders

-        Assist with account strategy

 

Applicants will ideally have 2 years + experience working within business development, ideally within engineering or technical but this is not essential. Full training will be provided on products.

 

We are looking to speak to candidates who are strong communicators (both written and verbal), strong negotiators who have sound commercial awareness.
