The Salary:

Up to £30,000 DOE + bonus (OTE £35k)


The Job Role:


A position has become available within our clients growing business for a dynamic and self-starting Marketeer. This position will support marketing outputs for the business as well as working collaboratively with the sales team to increase leads and drive the business forward.


Reporting into the COO the successful candidate will enjoy an autonomous role working on both strategic and operational marketing objectives.


The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role including the following duties;


  • Managing the marketing function of the business
  • Day to day management of the Marketing Executive including coaching, mentoring and training
  • Leading on the marketing strategy for the business
  • Multi-channel marketing, ensuring that all communication is consistent and on brand
  • Product marketing
  • Working collaboratively with third party agencies
  • Managing social media platforms
  • Managing the back end of the website
  • Managing content for the company website, blog pieces and other marketing collateral  
  • Developing the company’s brand
  • Reporting to management data and analytics on the performance of the company’s marketing
  • Identifying new business opportunities and keeping a close eye on competitors
  • Working collaboratively with the sales team
  • Monitoring lead generation


We are looking to speak to candidates that have the following skills and experience:


  • Solid marketing experience – ideally 3 years +
  • Confident leading on all marketing activities autonomously on behalf of the business
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Excellent content writing skills
  • IT literate and confident using the full suite of MS Office
  • Experience of WordPress
  • Experience of managing a team would be advantageous


We are ideally looking to speak to candidates that have a background working for an SME. It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience within the manufacturing sector, ideally working for a company who manufactures multiple products.


Candidates should have a good education and a background in marketing is essential.  It would be advantageous for candidates to have a membership of a professional body or organisation within marketing.
