£25,000 to £35,000 FTE pro rata
The Job Role:
Due to expansion within our client’s organisation, we have an opportunity available for a professional and experienced HR Officer to manage the HR and payroll function for the business.
Reporting into the Chief Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and effective day to day HR support to the business and employees. This will be a varied role and will include the following duties;
- Main contact for HR within the business
- Work collaboratively with key managers across the business
- Provide day to day support and advice to employees and managers across the business in relation to HR matters
- Liaise with external Employment Lawyers for any escalated matters of HR questions
- Maintain all HR records
- Support managers with the recruitment of new employees
- Recruitment administration including contracts and new starter packs
- Processing holiday requests
- Ensure the business remains up to date with HR legislation
- Working collaboratively with the Chief Executive in relation to all HR matters
- Processing payroll information and sending across to Accountants
- Pension administration using NEST
- HR, payroll and pension administration duties as required
We are looking to speak to candidates that have the following skills and experience;
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Excellent experience working within an HR department (ideally 3 years +)
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly
- Exceptional professionalism
- Confident processing payroll information
- Confident processing pension contributions (training can be provided on pension software)
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of recruitment
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
This position is part time, approximately 16 hours per week. Our client is flexible regarding hybrid working and working days.
