Monday – Friday 9.15 – 5.30

The Salary:

Up to £21 k depending on experience

The Job Role:

Due to growth within our client’s organisation, we have an opportunity available for a Cash Management Assistant to assist with pension payroll and cash management for our client’s portfolio.

We are looking to speak to candidates that have experience working within payroll and are seeking a long-term role within pensions.  

This varied position will include the following duties;

• Accurately maintaining cash books for each client
• Managing quarterly tax returns for clients
• Processing payment requests
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Providing cash management information for management meetings
• Maintaining up to date bank mandates for clients
• Process payroll for pension schemes
• Carrying out manual PAYE calculations
• Liaising with HMRC
• Preparation and submission of statutory year end accounts
• Other payroll duties as directed by the business

We are looking to speak to candidates that have the following skills and experience;

• Ideally experience working for a Third-Party Company managing pension schemes
• Experience of pension payroll
• Confident using payroll software systems
• Experience working within a finance team providing cash management services
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grades C or above
• Confident using the full suite of MS Office – Word and Excel in particular
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment
