The Job Role:

 

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Quality and Health & Safety Manager.  This is an important role within our client’s business, ensuring that the company is fully compliant with health and safety, fire, quality and environmental regulations. 

 

As Quality and Health & Safety Manager, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with the following duties;

 

  • Reviewing and devising fire, health and safety, quality and environmental policies and strategies on behalf of the business
  • Maintaining management systems; ISO9001:2015, OHSAS 18001/ISO45001 and ISO14001 to the highest standards
  • Ensuring the business complies with COSHH and REACH
  • Working with internal departments to ensure that all policies and regulations are closely followed
  • Undertaking regular risk assessments
  • Identifying any hazards within the business and rectifying
  • Reporting of incidents/accidents and complaints
  • Carrying out regular inspections of the business
  • Reporting to management on health and safety findings
  • Ensuring all quality objectives are met with
  • Preparing quality documentation reports
  • Management of customer and supplier health and safety related questions
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the quality of products on their final inspection
  • Regular testing of equipment
  • Carrying out regular health and safety training with all staff
  • Management of CPD log for all staff relating to health and safety training

 

 

The successful candidate will enjoy an autonomous position managing the quality and health and safety of the business.

 

We are looking to speak to candidate who are confident managing health and safety within the business, as well as ensuring all regulations are maintained to the highest standards.

 

Qualifications required for this role include: NEBOSH and ISO9001.

 

Applicants should have exceptional auditing skills, strong business acumen and excellent communication and organisational skills.
