The Job Role:

Our client has a new position available within their organisation for a Sales and Marketing Manager who has experience of selling and marketing event, conferencing and office space.

The purpose of the position is to support the current tenants as well as selling the office and events space to public, private and not for profit organisations.

Duties will include the following;

  • Design and deliver the Sales and Marketing strategy for the organisation
  • Monitor and manage the organisations revenue streams (including offices, events and conferencing spaces)
  • Identify new services and products the organisation can offer to new and existing tenants and users
  • Maintain good working relations with existing tenants and potential tenants/users
  • Attend regular networking events to help promote the organisations offering within the Sheffield City Region
  • Review the organisations current offering and suggest better ways of working
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing administration support team and providing day to day line management
  • Managing external contacts and agencies – for example marketing agencies

Applicants should have the following experience;

  • Experience of working within event sales/hospitality
  • Understand of marketing tools required
  • Experience of line management
  • Experience working within a KPI sales driven environment
  • Ability to set and work to a marketing budget
  • Ability to design and deliver a sales and marketing strategy
