The Job Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Whilst this position is very varied and will include many accounts tasks, there is a heavy leaning towards purchase ledger, and therefore Applicants for this position must have prior experience. Purchase ledger duties will include authorising invoices, uploading invoices using SAGE and creating payment runs. The position will also include general purchasing for the company such as ordering stationary and handling requests from members of the team.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following duties;
- Liaising with suppliers and handling supplier reconciliations
- Creating invoices
- Authorising payments
- Analysing any fraud payments – issuing refunds when required
- General administrative duties for Management as required
- Analyse marketing spend each month and report to management
- Adding invoices onto Sage
Applicants should have well rounded accounts administrative experience and will ideally be looking for a long term position.
The ideal Applicant for this role will have experience using Sage and will be IT literate and able to use the full suite of MS Office.
