The Job Role
This Accounts Assistant position is a maternity contract until approximately December 2019.
Our client requires an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team and the position will also provide some administrative support. This position has a heavy leaning towards purchase ledger so applicants must have prior experience.
This role will be very varied and will include the following;
- Matching supplier invoices using Sage
- Bank reconciliations
- Handling all purchase ledger enquiries
- Managing petty cash and reconciling
- Preparation of monthly BACS run
- Inputting time sheets onto system
- General administrative tasks as required by the finance team
The ideal candidate for this role will have 3 years + experience working within a similar role.
