The Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday
We are delighted to be representing our client as they continue to thrive within their sector, and as such require an experienced Bid Manager to join their team. Our client are multi-disciplinary property and construction consultants who are fast-growing and booming within their industry.
The successful candidate will join the business as a Bid Manager and will be responsible for handling a varied workload including managing complex bids. There will also be supervisory duties including supporting the development of more junior team members.
We are looking to speak to an experienced Bid Manager who has the following skills and experience; - Working collaboratively with the Bid team managing a deadline driven workload - Supporting team members including Bid Administrators with administrative tasks relating to ongoing bid proposals - Project management of each bid - Responsibility for planning, management and completion of each section of the bid proposal - Ensuring each bid is thoroughly reviewed against the requirements of each client - Planning, writing and coordinating bid responses - Confidence to understand and interpret questions at each stage of the bid process - Positively portraying the culture and personality of the business through each bid process - Attending workshops for story boarding and answer planning - Identifying opportunities for graphical content development - Developing a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids - Ensuring accuracy throughout the bid process including pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents - Ensuring all content, and responses meet the bid and brand guidelines - Responsibility for the bid aftercare process – ensuring the response database is accurately completed - Collation and review of submissions feedback - Promote a strong, ethical, friendly and team efficient culture and working environment
We would love to hear from candidates that have excellent experience working within a similar Bid Manager role. Applicants should have strong experience managing the bid process including planning and managing the bid response process. As primary focus for this role, the successful candidate will manage the response process, and engage with all parts of the business to ensure a professional, compliant and compelling proposal is successfully created and submitted. Applicants should have excellent experience of project managing the entire bid process including managing responses, bid writing and presentation of the final document. Applicants should be confident using IT packages including Excel and PowerPoint. Competent use of In-Design and familiarity with the construction industry would be an advantage but not a necessity. The successful candidate will ideally have experience supervising a team and will be passionate about nurturing and developing junior members of staff.
