We are delighted to be working with our client as they recruit a Bookkeeper/Office Manager into their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to work in a pivotal role within a small business. If you are a confident person who is able to work independently in a flexible role this position could be perfect for you.
We are looking for an organised individual, ideally with an AAT qualification, to run the finance and administration of the business. This position is a hybrid role that will be mainly working remotely with some office attendance. Familiarization and training will be offered for specific systems but good Sage 50 skills are essential.
This varied role will include the following duties; Software Maintenance Billings and Renewals and Database Management - Software Licence Generation via a Database - Order Processing - Sales/Customer Liaison - Office Management (i.e. Insurance/Software annual renewals, building maintenance, utility contract management) - HR tasks (management of staff reviews, sickness & holiday tracking, contract management) - Customer invoices - Customer Statements - Aged Debtors and Credit Control include Chasing Debts - Supplier Statements, Aged Creditors, Supplier payments - Bank Reconciliation - Payroll & Month End Journals - Monthly PAYE & Quarterly VAT returns - Expenses and Credit Cards Processing - Month/Year End Analysis for MD (Reports) - Liaison with external Accountants for Year End Processes - Sage Backup processing.
We’d love to speak to candidates that have the following skills and experience; Sage 50 Accounts (Essential) - MS Office (Essential) - Ability to work independently – AAT Qualified (Desirable) - Replicon/Timesheet Maintenance - PM Experience (Desirable) - IT/Software Background (Desirable) - Willingness to be flexible to the role, small business, requires hands on approach - Good Interpersonal skills - Good communication skills.
