We are delighted to be representing one of our long-standing clients as they add further headcount into their finance team. The successful candidate will be joining a wonderful company who have created a fantastic working environment.
This is a brilliant role for a Direct Debit Officer to join the company taking responsibility for creating, allocating and collecting direct debit payments. This role will require some administration including downloading, verifying and processing payroll files, processing a daily payment run and managing any cash deposits. This role will be super-fast-paced working to strict deadlines and it is a high-volume role. We are looking to speak to a Direct Debit Officer who really wants to take charge of this part of the finance function.
This varied role will include the following roles and responsibilities; - Generating, sending for collection and allocating weekly and monthly direct debit runs – Responsibility for downloading, verifying and processing payroll files daily – Processing daily payment runs – Verifying finance criteria and ensuring bank details are correct before processing payments – Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR standards are met at all times – Liaising with external auditors – Preparing financial reports – Providing general support including administration support to the finance team when required
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience; High level of numeracy skills – Exceptional attention to detail – Confident working in a busy working environment meeting deadlines – Excellent communication skills – Strong IT skills including Excel – Direct Debit experience is preferable – Go Cardless knowledge would be advantageous although not essential – Tech savvy and confident using accountancy software – Personable and enjoys working as part of a busy and collaborative team
