The Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Due to expansion within our client’s business, we have an immediate role available for a passionate Internal Account Manager to join their small, but perfectly formed team. The successful candidate will enjoy a super varied role including nurturing, supporting and growing client accounts. The successful candidate will handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, and emails, and will be the main point of contact within the business for new and existing clients. This is a consultative account management role – the ideal candidate for this role will have a genuine interest in building long-lasting relationships with clients, as well as confidence growing client accounts.
This varied Internal Account Manager role is well suited to candidates that have prior experience working within sales, account management and are confident administrators. We would love to hear from candidates who are looking for a long-term position working for a brilliant organisation.
Typical duties will include the following; - Managing a heavy volume of telephone calls and emails from new and existing clients regarding orders– Providing exceptional customer service, handling any enquiries from new and existing customers – Supporting customers consultatively to identify sales opportunities – Cross selling and up selling where appropriate – Providing detailed information about products to customers – Generating quotes and sending these to clients for their approval – Processing orders using the in-house CRM system – Tracking shipments and updating customers with any delays – Supporting clients with technical issues and facilitating repair services – Ensuring accurate client and order records are kept – Actively communicating with internal teams across both UK and US – Supporting the warehouse when required during busy periods including lifting boxes up to 22kg
We would love to hear from candidates who are experienced Account Managers who have the following skills and experience – Proactive sales experience – Exceptional account management skills – Consultative sales approach - A genuine interest in people and retaining clients – Confident processing customer orders – Able to generate quotations – Excellent Administration skills – A real team-player who is able to work collaboratively with internal teams – Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal – Super organised - Able to roll up sleeves and support a small team within the warehouse when required – Confidence using IT including full suite of MS Office – SAGE experience would be preferred
