The Hours: Part Time, 20 hours

Our client is a fast-growing and award-winning company located in the heart of Sheffield city centre. Our client builds beautiful apartments across the country with enhanced amenities for their residents.

We have a position available for a Maintenance Technician to join the business on a permanent basis, working 20 hours a week. This will be a varied role covering a wide-range of duties to support the company in providing the best possible service and facilities. This will be a physically demanding role.

Typical duties will include the following; - Repairing and resolving any issues in the apartments and communal spaces – Carrying out minor repairs including painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery – Ensuring all areas of the building are clean and well presented – Monitor and maintain the building, car parks and communal areas – Manage any on-site contractors – Sign off any completed works – Move furniture – Monitor and maintain stock levels and purchase supplies as needed – Other maintenance duties as required and directed by management

We would love to speak to candidates who have the following skills and experience – Excellent technical knowledge and previous experience working within a residential building – Confidence with carpentry, joinery, painting, and decorating – Ability to manage own workload – Professional and super personable to build trusted relationships with internal teams and residents – Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service – Basic level plumbing and electrical experience would be desirable – Health and Safety or IOSH certification would be beneficial – Experience working within residential (PRS, BTR or PBSA) or within hospitality sectors would be advantageous
