Benchmark has always proudly put people first. The essence of everything we do is people-centric and we care deeply about how people feel in their day-to-day lives and how they show up at work, in life, but also everything in between.

We were delighted to host our first workshop in collaboration with Dave Kneeshaw of BetterMinds. We put a lot of thought into shaping a session that felt relevant, useful, and genuinely supportive, and that each delegate would walk away with a useable toolkit on resilience.

We welcomed a group of lovely individuals from different backgrounds and roles, from business owners to professionals who were exploring new career pathways.

Throughout the session, we explored what resilience actually means, how it shows up, and how we can develop small, simple habits to allow us to feel a little steadier on our feet. We learnt that there are typical factors that influence our resilience within work – these can include money, people, cancelled orders, uncontrollable events to name but a few. We also explored what we can do to build our resilience, including being kinder to ourselves, better managing our thoughts and feelings, staying active and adopting positive language models.

Each delegate walked away from the event with a practical toolkit that could be put into place immediately.

Benchmark Recruit and Benchmark Pathways are passionate about providing tools, and creating spaces where people can reflect, reset and move forwards.

We are delighted to announce our next session is already at planning stage and further details will be shared soon.  Our next session topic will be persuasion science – exploring how we influence, connect and communicate with others in a more intentional way. For further information about our next session please get in touch with Becca.  We will of course be sharing further details soon, and would love to see you there.
