This is an exciting new role for the business, and is the ideal opportunity for an experienced lead generation professional with a track record of identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, ideally within technical or industrial sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to generate high-quality leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales pipeline. This is the perfect role for a confident communicator who thrives on research, enjoys building new relationships, and is motivated by delivering tangible results that support global sales growth.
This is a varied and rewarding role that will include the following responsibilities: - Conducting structured market research to identify new customers, projects, and markets in collaboration with Product Managers and Area Sales Managers - Performing outbound contact via calls and written communications to engage and qualify potential customers - Managing the CRM database to ensure accurate tracking of prospects and sales opportunities - Developing tailored engagement strategies to nurture interest and build rapport with potential clients - Coordinating meetings between qualified leads and the Sales Managers - Reporting on lead generation KPIs including conversion rates and lead quality - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective lead follow-up and campaign alignment - Maintaining GDPR compliance and adhering to internal data handling policies
We would love to speak to candidates who have the following skills and experience: - Previous experience in lead generation, inside sales or telemarketing in a B2B environment - Exceptional communication skills and a professional, confident phone manner - Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to identify key market opportunities - Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales data - Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research platforms - Experience using LinkedIn and professional networking tools - Highly organised, self-motivated and results-driven - A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills - Knowledge of environmental, emissions or industrial monitoring sectors would be advantageous - Experience working within international or export sales environments would also be helpful
