Our client’s boutique hotel and stunning apartments are set within four acres of beautiful and scenic grounds in Hull. We have an opportunity available for an Operations Manager who is passionate about working with customers and assisting with the management and operations of this beautiful hotel and living space to join their team. This role is available immediately.
This is a super varied and multi-faceted role overseeing the guest services of the hotel and apartments, as well as the general operations of the business. The successful candidate as Operations Manager will oversee all operations of the business, ensuring that employees are supported and empowered, and ensuring that optimum performance is being delivered at all times. The Operations Manager will have an active role in ensuring continuous improvements and development of the business and its operations.
This varied operations role will include the following roles and responsibilities; - Overseeing the team including their performance and development including performance reviews and appraisals – Supporting HR – Recruitment and training – Rota management – Overseeing health and safety – Management of reservations for the hotel – Management of lettings – Overseeing sales performance - Responsibility for compliance and quality – Work collaboratively with the General Manager – Overseeing general property management – Guest relations – Drafting contracts and agreements
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following experience; - Operations Management experience – Experience working within lettings, property or hospitality would be advantageous – Fully IT literate and confident using the full suite of MS Office – Exceptional communication skills – Confident working within a busy environment – Confident managing reservations – An excellent team player – Willingness to cover holidays and sickness when required
