We are thrilled to be representing our client in their search for an experienced Senior Secretary/Administrator. This is a really exciting time to be joining our client’s business, this is a newly formed role to support their continued growth within the business. There are future hires already lined up so this small company of 9 people will see steady growth over the coming year.
Our client are experienced professionals within the construction sector working with well-known brands across Yorkshire. We are looking to speak to candidates that already have extensive experience working within senior administration, and have experience working within the construction sector. This is an office-based role, with travel required across Yorkshire to attend meetings. Hybrid working will not be considered.
The successful Senior Secretary/Administrator will be responsible for a varied, and fast-paced role that will include the following duties; -Taking, producing and distributing extensive minutes from meetings -General office and facilities management including ordering stationary and supplies -Diary Management for Directors and Site Managers -Ordering and issuing PPE -Direct liaison with clients, contractors and external stakeholders -Actively reporting health and safety information including reporting accidents -Managing internal HR system including arranging new starter set-ups and managing training matrix -Ensuring insurances in place for sub-contractors -Ensuring accurate log of accreditations for the business and members of staff -Attending site visits at least once per week (situated across Yorkshire) and actively contributing to meetings and taking minutes -Producing high-quality presentations and documentation -Providing general senior-level administrative support to the Directors and wider team
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience; -Construction industry experience (essential) -Senior level Secretarial/Administrative experience (essential) -Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle – mileage will be paid (essential) -Extensive experience taking, producing and distributing minutes -Confidence producing documents and presentations using Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Highly organised and able to juggle a busy workload with ever-changing priorities -Confidence in supporting senior Directors and Site Managers -Excellent problem-solving skills -Able to prioritise workload effectively with minimal input -Excellent typing skills -High attention to detail and ability to work to an extremely high standard -Confidence working alone -Flexible can-do attitude
