If you’ve followed Benchmark for a little while, you’ll know we’re pretty passionate about people. Whether it’s helping candidates to find their dream role, re-shaping their careers, helping businesses to recruit top talent and grow, or our foundation that has always been people-first.

It’s been such a privilege for me to work with so many amazing people and businesses over the last 12 years as I’ve climbed my own career ladder from Trainee Consultant back in 2013, to purchasing the business through MBO in 2022. Throughout this time, I have helped countless candidates find a new role, from first roles through to navigating crossroads and embracing entirely new career paths. It has always been my passion to help people to be the best versions of themselves, and for so many of us, our careers form a huge part of this.

After going through a personally challenging time last year, it made me realise just how important my own brilliant business is. Benchmark has never been just a job for me. As I navigated enormous changes in my own life last year, it made me realise how passionate I was about supporting others. Because of this, Benchmark Pathways is here, and I’m proud as punch to share it with the world.

Benchmark’s brand-new sister company has been born out of years of supporting people through more than just job changes. Benchmark Pathways has a solid foundation of unlocking potential, building confidence, and helping businesses and individuals to move forward with purpose and clarity. Each individual and business will have their own dedicated cheer-leader (spoiler alert – that’s me!) behind them every step of the way.

By the end of this year, I will be a qualified Therapist, which will allow me to support individuals at an even deeper level.  I have chosen a course that is solution-focused, which seems fitting given my determination to help people shape their own path and move forward.

Benchmark Recruit will continue to do what it does best by connecting brilliant people with brilliant businesses. I now have a wonderful colleague, Abby Langstaff, to share this part of the journey with me, and trust me, with Abby and myself at the helm, Benchmark is in the safest hands.  Benchmark Pathways will support not just the hire, but the human. Benchmark Pathways will also support businesses in a more strategic and people-focused way to create lasting, positive change that truly puts people at the heart of strategy.
