The Job Role:

After a strong 2021, our client has exciting growth plans in 2022 and as such, we have a fantastic permanent position available for an experienced Office Manager to join their growing team.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an operations focussed professional who is seeking a challenging, and rewarding office management role.

 

Forming part of the management team of the company, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in the following areas of the business; HR, operations, team and management, client support.

 

As Office Manager, the successful candidate’s primary role will be ensuring all operations of the business are running smoothly.  Our client has a successful ‘outcome focussed’ business, and therefore as Office Manager the successful candidate will ensure the operations support team are inspired, supported and managed effectively.

 

The successful candidate will be a champion for the teams personal development ensuring that all the team receive the correct training and support to fulfil their roles to the highest standards.

 

 Key responsibilities will include the following;

 

HR

  • Management of all policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the company handbook is maintained
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Management of Consultants – ensuring they are supported
  • Contracts for Consultants and permanent members of staff

 

Operational Support

  • Ensuring all business operations are as effective and efficient as possible
  • Managing all regulatory and compliance procedures and documentation
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly (including those working from home to ensure they are supported)
 

Client Delivery/Administration

  • Supporting Consultants with the preparation of presentations ahead of new business meetings
  • Creating contracts/service agreements
  • General administration as directed by Consultants/Management to support client delivery

 

Management

  • Management of the team
  • Ensuring the team are well supported and engaged
  • Assisting with PDPs
  • General management of the Sheffield office
 

We are excited to speak to experienced Office Managers who have worked in a similar, fast paced and people focussed role. 

 

Our client is looking for the following experience:

  • Ideally 5 years + work experience within a similar Office Management role
  • Confident using M365 - proficient using TEAMS and SharePoint and able to log information onto internal intranet 
  • Proficient using the full suite of MS Office
  • Confident managing and driving organisational change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Used to working to strict deadlines – thriving in fast-paced and busy work environment
  • Exceptional leader – able to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent administrative skills
